Founder’s Message

I believe that Africa has boundless potential and one of the most important components to achieving this is by developing our people’s inherent capacity to be productive. With a career span of 30 years, in both private and public sectors, and having served as a member of the Executive Council of Lagos State, Nigeria, I observed firsthand the needs and yearnings of our human capital across the nation.

HIG Africa was set up to catalyse the economic and social mobility of our target beneficiaries, youth, women and leaders across the continent. Our plan is to aggregate, invest and deploy resources that will directly impact our human capital, making them more competitive as individuals and linking them with opportunities in the global talent marketplace. In short, we aspire to be a major player in unleashing Africa’s human potential!

Our Foundation

CoRe Coaching Development Foundation has a focus on promoting gender inclusion and supporting the youth and women in three main areas of focus, “Learn to Earn”, our digital and technical skill programme, Women in Government and Politics (WinGs) and Women in Small Business and Entrepreneurship (WinES). attain economic and social mobility. The foundation provides a bespoke fellowship program where coaching is at the heart of the support in addition to a learning and development framework to empower them for future success.

The Centre for CoRe Coaching is the coach certification arm of the foundation. The Centre developed the CoRe (Consciousness Reconditioning) Coach Certification Training program which is the first indigenous internationally accredited coach training program in West Africa. The Centre is at the forefront of the development of the coaching industry in Africa and has trained coaches in diverse niches, in particular Executive, Leadership, and Career coaches and internal coaches for top-tier organisations interested in building a coaching culture for their organisations.
